Music Program
Music transcends borders, allowing us to find empathy and compassion in our diverse world. Georgia School adopts the 'whole-child education' philosophy, which combines a customized extension curriculum with an all-American curriculum. Students are required to take classes in music and instruments. Ms. Kristina, Georgia's music teacher and a cellist, develops their interests and skills under her guidance.
As a teacher, Ms. Kristina is able to use different approaches and diverse combinations to facilitate the class and make the learning process more interesting. She is skilled at introducing lessons to students with the rhythm of sound through the use of musical teaching aids such the triangle iron, sand hammer, and drum and lets them enjoy the rich and exquisite beauty of music. Meanwhile, she is performing a soloist, chamber musician and in the orchestra on a regular base, in order to exceed the highest level of performance playing cello.
