International Appreciation Day 2024

The event began at 9:00am in the classrooms. Students rotated through classrooms to experience different countries, listening to the presentation and getting involved in the activity. Secondary students had more responsibilities for UN Day, introducing other students about countries through their learning from research, and passed the knowledge on in a fun way!  

The afternoon commenced with a ceremony featuring music and dances, performed by students. Afterwards, we set up the food fair. The parents shared food and snacks with our school community. We really appreciated their unwavering support! Students, parents, and staff at GSN gathered while dressing in the traditional clothing of their home countries to express their love and respect towards all cultures in the school community.

The International Appreciation Day Celebration at Georgia School was once again successful, allowing children to understand the significance of sharing and valuing diverse cultures, customs, and cuisines. It enables students to acknowledge their integral role within a global community.
