Celebrating Chinese New Year
The traditional celebration on the first day of the lunar year is called Spring Festival, or Lunar New Year. Known as one of the most significant holidays in Chinese traditional culture, the Spring Festival represents reunification and a fresh start. This week, the Chinese Department of Georgia School arranged a new year event to welcome the dragon year and celebrated the Spring Festival in advance, in order to let Georgia's international students feel the vibrant Spring Festival atmosphere and learn the traditional Chinese skills!

Chinese traditional culture has evolved over 5,000 years of historical accumulation and inheritance; allowing students to understand and promote it in their own unique way remains the epitome of cultural progress. The 2024 Chinese Lunar New Year is approaching, "every success, two dragons soar, the four seasons of peace..." which are the blessing of Georgia's students, and also our deepest wishes to everyone.
