David Mahon, founding chairperson of Georgia School Ningbo, was invited again to participate in the CGTN interview program "DIALOGUE," where he engaged in in-depth discussions on the Fourth Plenary Session and the theme of a more open China.

In 1984, David Mahon first set foot on Chinese soil. During his time in China, he witnessed the profound economic transformation of the nation and gained deep insights into how economic history continues to shape China's future. The Fourth Plenary Session proposed expanding high-level opening-up to create a new situation of mutually beneficial cooperation, enabling China to share opportunities and pursue common development with countries worldwide. Mr. Mahon recognized China's resolve and initiatives in trade innovation and two-way investment.

David Mahon serves as the foreign founder and honorary chairman of Georgia School Ningbo, the first licensed independent school in the Ningbo region for international families approved by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Education. He is from New Zealand and a graduate of the University of Auckland. Having worked at the New Zealand Ministry of Education, he has been developing his career in Beijing, China, for over three decades, and was the first chairman of Beijing MORTESSONI International School, the first institution approved by China's Ministry of Education since the country's reform and opening-up. Since 1993, as a renowned international commentator, Mr. Mahon has been invited to participate in interview programs recorded by China Central Television (CCTV-9), China Global Television Network (CGTN), and other foreign television networks every year.
